A Night at the Ballpark

This past Tuesday evening, we met up with our daughter and her family for "Family Night at Smith's Ballpark" to see our minor league team, the Salt Lake Bees play.   We all had a great time.  It was a little hot, but we had great seats in the shade, it was a fun and memorable night.  Here are a few pictures.

Only the youngest three grandchildren in the family could come because the oldest brother has gone away to school, and the oldest sister is in Uganda on her service trip.  We missed them, but that didn't stop the rest of us from having a really good time.  There were lots of things to do at the ballpark, including watching the game!  The youngest girls enjoyed riding a little train for kids around the park, and of course there were plenty of hot dogs and nachos for all!

When our children were little, we took them to baseball games frequently. We have great memories of going to games of  the St. Louis Cardinals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Angels and the Arizona Diamondbacks.   We also went to spring training games in Arizona and minor league team games in California. Baseball is a great family activity and I am so glad we could enjoy a night at the ballpark with our grandchildren.

Until next time,
Deb
